Did you drink from a cup, can or bottle? Did you leave your drink unattended (going to the toilet or similar)? Unless it was a faulty test, highly unlikely, it seems improbable that you'd consume enough alcohol for 18 beers when you only drank 5, unless it was double strength lager spiked with vodka or something.

I remember a girl I chatted up in a club one night (many years ago) just as we were about to leave she began acting very strangely.
Eventually she collapsed and was taken to hospital.

One moment she was fine and the next she appeared to be totally shitfaced...it turned out she was diabetic.
