Coming out of the closet

I've come out of the closet to tell people that I am Bi, because there is this guy in my school who I have had a crush on for the longest time, but I also have a huge crush on this girl in my English class. Also, it's like I love *** people and I love lesbian people. I just decided to let you know that I am Bi. Nothin to it....

Maddest_Hatter 02-28-2007 10:28 PM

As long as you are being honest with yourself, that is all that matters.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 02-28-2007 10:28 PM

Nobody cares.

sleepy jack 02-28-2007 10:29 PM

Loving G*ays and lesbians doesnt add to the bisexual's bisexuality...

[MERIT] 03-01-2007 09:40 AM

adidasss 03-01-2007 10:35 AM

That of course, is a comment in and of itself.

Ok, regardless of your opinion on homosexuality, you should probably acknowledge that this is a good thing for him, coming out that is. Beats hiding and lying about it no?

P.s Assuming this isn't one of those really retarded American teen jokes in which case I'd be pretty pissed off.

NaNaNer 03-01-2007 10:46 AM

I agree but is there a such thing as bisexuality? Is that some form of denial?

not really, IMO (and I stress that because it's MY PERSONAL OPINION), "Bi-sexuality" is nothing more than homosexuality in denial. Being sexually attracted to males at all makes you a homosexual, regardless of liking females as well. I realize that the term "Bi-sexual" in and of itself means being sexually attracted to 2 genders, but come one... who are they trying to fool.

No it's not, it's perfectly possible for someone to be attracted to both sexes. They have nothing to gain from saying they're bi, homophobes think you're queer even if you are attracted to the opposite sex.

See Nananer..?;)

NaNaNer 03-01-2007 10:54 AM

So now I am confused...

I like women..but I would never date them..I like them in a sexual form..its fun,its erotic and sometimes better then being with a man...

But I would never date or be in a relationship with a woman....

Am I bisexual? And in all seriousness...I dont know the answer.

Call me a homophobe if you want, but I disagree with the practice, not the people. Liking men makes you a f@g. I use that not as a derogatory term, but as a term to describe both homosexuals and "bi-sexuals." If you know of a more politically correct term feel free to let me know.

Maybe its fear of what others might think...I am not real sure...I am emotionally more attracted to men then women...

Women are crazy!

Oh God, we're back to semantics. You can disagree and protest all you want, but homophobia no longer means a "fear" of homosexuals, it stands for the general disagreement with the "lifestyle". You're a homophobe, and that's fine and dandy, but I don't see why you shy away from being labeled one. It's not as if you're keeping your views a secret or being all PC about it. So what's the problem?

And saying you don't use the term fag as a derogatory one is bullshit plain and simple, if you don't wish to offend the other party, we in civilized society tend to use the terms "homosexual" , "bisexual" or perhaps "gay".

Well don't be so exclusive about it. Saying you would never want to date or be in a relationship with another woman simply because of what others think is pretty daft wouldn't you agree? It's also rather cowardly. You shouldn't care what others think otherwise you might miss out on life...like I did.

I said you can label me a "homophobe" all you want. It others me absolutely none. I disagree with a homosexuality as well as "bi-sexuality," so I guess I'm a bi-seuxalophobe as well. And was using the term "fag" to refer to both homosexuals AND "bi-sexuals," since both are sexually attracted to men. And this is why I said "no comment," to try to avoid all this redundant bullsh*t with everyone on here who are so rainbow friendly.

NaNaNer 03-01-2007 11:06 AM

If its not something you would like to be called then you shouldnt be calling others it...

I will call a black man a black man, but it would make little sense for him to call me a black man, or vice versa. No weight to that argument.

C'mon man, if I can talk to you normally (no insults), I don't see why you'd get all pissy about it. We're just shooting the shit, chilaxalate...

Would you call a black man a "nigger"?

I didn'trealize that I was coming off as agressive, that was not my intentions. I've just made my views known so many times that when poeple keep asking for them, I usually assume it's just to start an argument (which I usually oblige them).

Okay how is this for argument..

If you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all.

***got is actually being used wrong when you are refer to someone..***got is a bundle of sticks...

A *** is a cigarrette...

So I guess in all reality..your not really shaming anyone...

Ok sorry, I thought you were getting upset again. Don't worry about it, I like talking about these things. As long as we do it in a civilized fashion. ;)

Possibly, my definition of a "nigger" is not a black person, my definition is someone who is disrespectful, arrogant, an a$$hole, pretty much the same as a prick. But I don't use it becuase of the weight it carries with most African Americans.

NaNaNer 03-01-2007 11:17 AM

My thing is..

You give respect regardless of the disagreements in lifestyle. Someone may not like how you live your life..but that is no grounds for disrespect..

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Well then you should realize that "fag" or "faggot" have the same weight with homosexuals. I wont try to convert you or anything, all I'm saying is that you should address us with respect, and calling me a faggot shows no respect wouldn't you agree? I personally don't like to categorize myself as a homosexual, I hope people have learned to respect me based on my character and intelligence, not whom I do or don't sleep with.

I mean no disrespect, but it's hard to avoid when you're telling someone that you completely disagree with their choice of lifestyle.

NaNaNer 03-01-2007 11:23 AM

Its hard living a lifestyle that others may seem "wrong" but respect is all anyone asks for while living this life..and its not hard to simply not waste the energy criticizing them for what makes them happy...
