the first thing about fighting is there are really no rules you do what you need to do to win it might be a bit shameful or dishonorable but we dont live in the midevil times if you have bite scratch poke rip what ever it take if your at a disadvantage give them a disadvantage just dont do anything uncorrectable unless there threatning your life or have a weapon cuase you can get in a shot load of trouble for that

This is true, we don't live in the midevil times, nor do we live in the earlyevil or latterevil times.
Unless of course you were referring to the medieval times, which would make as little sense also, given that they were partial to violence in the extreme and would think nothing of decapitating you with a single swipe of a broadsword or split your head in two with a battle axe. I won't even go into the finer points of being hung, drawn and quartered.
