Out of curiosity, why are you so hard on meth(or drug) addicts?

I can't speak for Kurt, but my attitude towards hard drug users is hostile.
Why? The hard druggies, namely Smack and Crackheads are the source of most crime in my area.
Ranging from theft to muggings and worse, all for their next fix.
News of a dead smackhead is usually greeted with a wry smile.

No mercy, no sympathy.

If someone wishes to do drugs I don't see it as socially unacceptable. Its something that isn't personally for me. As long as its not out of control to the point that they harm others than I don't care.

my theroery is that if were legal and sold at liquor store that they would not have to steal and such for the money and they would also go way overboard with the **** and kill themselves
edit- problem solved everyone except them would be happy except fopr the need to get a dead cart to get dead junkies

I seriously doubt that, one of my school friends has dabbled in crack for about a year and i've watched her get steadily worse with amount and method wanting a bigger and bigger high. And I don't think it would matter if she bought it in a store or not, she would still try to match the the first exhilarating high.

Why, wouldn't there just be one initial shock that people are inherently fucked up?
