Haha, up and down.
I go from Ohé en Laak to Bergen op Zoom to Rijswijk to Nijnsel to Ohé en Laak.
That's 462km's, which iiis... 289 miles.

"Bergen op Zoom" - that must be one of the coolest place names I've ever heard!
Well, I wish you a very safe and enjoyable 289 miles, hope some good music comes on, the drinks are good and the bad drivers are out in force!

I never wait for good music to come on, as it won't.
I just carry my own music.

Bergen op Zoom... Well "Ohé en Laak" definitely raises more eyebrows here .
Or what do you think of "Berg aan de Maas" or "Hippolytushoef"

"Hippolytushoef"

That is a really cool name. The most interesting we get here is "Broadbottom" or "Edensor".

Also, there's a place in Wales called "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysili ogogogoch", it's on Anglesey and they have their own train station with all that written on it. We like to go there when we're on Anglesey just to see that name.

Ahhh, you found it!!! I have several pictures of me and my family standing under that sign (It's just they aren't URL's). The trains come hourly and head for Liverpool. It's not a particularly busy place, but was given some redecoration recently just because so many people stop to look at it.

EDIT: only word I know with four consecutive F's.

In our trains, the train driver actually says at which station you're about to arrive. It's not a tape (yet), it's the actual driver.
I hope they don't do that there

I always find it hard when the drivers call the stops, especially being a traveler getting used to new accents. I wish all trains and buses had a scrolling marquee for the stops.
