A friend of mine was in a bad mood today, and said something that wounded and irked me so deeply that my eye legitimately twitched.

I really don't know how I didn't blow up at him. It is SUCH a good thing that today I was in a great mood.

I'm pretty much staining myself right now over going to fly to see Of Montreal. It's probably unreasonable to drop 300 dollars on a concert (accommodations, flight, meals), but frankly I've gone to greater extremes before and I probably will again. Right now I'm off the handle with excitement.
