Is Germany on the cards?

cardboard adolescent 05-11-2007 10:11 AM

Not at the moment, no.

cardboard adolescent 06-29-2007 06:03 PM

So I'm leaving on Tuesday!!! and I won't be around for a couple weeks, which will undoubtedly throw this place into disarray as you all walk around your computers in a state of disbelief and nausea. in any case, when I get back you all have a Cardboard Adolescent 100 to look forward to, which I finally finished compiling since I started it more than a year ago after seeing Urban's list... i'll probably write most of the reviews while in europe under the heavy influence of narcotics... should be interesting.

pheurton 06-29-2007 06:08 PM

Last time I went on holiday I was in wales it was a cool november morn and i was looking for a corpse to riddle with my rock hard erection. But that was for the latter.

littleknowitall 06-29-2007 06:24 PM

anyone happen to end up in the lower end of the uk feel free to give me a shout.

Bane of your existence 06-30-2007 12:58 AM

In A-dam hit up Blue Bird coffee shop for the best weed. Best ambience is in Bushdoctor's, but there's two of those so you have to make sure you don't go to the one by the 'shroom shop. Have fun. Greek chicks are easy.

I'm intrigued. From what I've seen you have interesting taste in music.

Hope this is as fun as it sounds.

The only trip I've got planned is a week in London seeing Slint and Sonic youth. Which should be a blast.

joyboyo53 07-02-2007 07:09 AM

i think i am going for 2-3 weeks in august. if not i will be in the netherlands for spring semester abroad (with only 6 hours). points of interest include germany, belgium, switzerland, maybe france but havent made all the plans yet.

right-track 07-02-2007 04:08 PM

Avoid Belgium...it's the most boring place on earth.
Nothing there, unless you like mass war graves.

joyboyo53 07-02-2007 04:48 PM

i like good beer... but i suppose germany could suffice

:(

thanks for telling the 4 y/o there is no santa!

The only good thing to come out of Belgium apart from the next plane out, is Stella Artois...it's only redeeming feature.

WTF, hoegaarden originated in belgium. not only does it blow stella out of the water, but there are many other delicious ales from other breweries.

right-track 07-04-2007 01:39 PM

Kevorkian Logic 07-10-2007 08:41 AM

i'm going to be in Germany, Prague, Copenhegan, and Amsterdam soon.

but I doubt you're going to any of those places and/or we will be there at the same time.

cardboard adolescent 07-13-2007 06:19 AM

it wouldn;t matter.

My mom will have me on a tight enough leash there that it wouldn't be worth it to try to get away.

joyboyo53 07-16-2007 07:17 AM

amsterdam...tight leash... those are as opposite as the kkk and the black panthers.

Kevorkian Logic 07-16-2007 08:02 AM

my track record for being well-behaved when let loose is a few yards short of spectacular.

however its annoying because this summer I managed to quit all my bad habits because of heath reasons,

joyboyo53 07-16-2007 02:26 PM

i hope that doesnt mean you quit tripping... because honestly... whats the harm?

anticipation 07-16-2007 02:58 PM

^the harm is having a good time, which we all know is outlawed in amsterdam.
