Let me guess, they melt the stolen hubcaps down into crucifixes?

I live in Birmingham. It has more canals than Venice and also more pizza-related food poisoning.

Mr Sensitive 05-11-2007 07:00 AM

Just outside of Newport.

Cheltenham-Full of both CHAVS and HOORAY HENRY'S- a very schizoprhenic town. I don't fall into any of those camps as I'm originally from TELFORD and both sides of my family are Brummies.

Where do the chavs live in Cheltenham? Me and my girlfriend went there last month and it was all lovely, lovely houses. Everywhere was clean and pretty and it all looked at least a bit posh. Yet in the town centre there were still quite a few chavs around. Where do they live? I bet they're fake chavs, you know, the type that's never seen a council estate in their life and only wears genuine, top of the range sports brands instead of cheap market fakes!

jackhammer 05-29-2007 04:32 PM

^^^^^^ lol!
There are two estates here that contain them and on a Saturday you can barely walk around the town centre for fear of trackie bottoms and caps. Most of the pubs and clubs are the same-they all play sh[i]tty RnB.

right-track 05-29-2007 05:43 PM

I don't know what's worse... chavs or the modern day crap that masquerades as R&B.

Cheltenham sounds like my idea of hell.

pheurton 05-31-2007 12:44 PM

jackhammer 06-02-2007 07:18 PM

Everything is North if you live in London!

Sneer 06-02-2007 07:22 PM

Aren't there more Londoners, than there are Welsh?

It is odd that your the only one, although I think Kurt comes from London too. (not sure)

I think Birmingham are represented the most among the Anglo Saxons here.
Levthian, DRMO, Tramp, Jackhammer, Fal...all from Brum.

Comparing the Welsh to northerners!? Ew, I'd like to think I'm a bit more classy than that.

i've had a very busy couple of months, i'll probably do another vanishing act soon aswell lol.

london is like the most densly populated city in the world after mexico city, so i am really surprised yes. And it wouldnt surprise if the whole of wales population was smaller!.

And sensitive, i lump anyone who isnt from london in the same brackets when it comes to britian, its just easier that way!

The combined population of Scotland and Wales, amounts to a little more than the population of London.

The city of Manchester has a population of around 250,000, stretching 12 miles from north to south and never stretching more than 4 miles wide, from west to east.

Making Manchester the most musically talented city, per capita/per square mile in the world.
The capital of cool.

Sneer 06-04-2007 10:23 AM

yeah london is quite bad musically considering its cultural enrichment and size..

^ I'm not entirely sure if I detect a subtle hint of southern sarcasm in there Stu...

London's the place to be if you want to get on in the music business (as far as Britain is concerned). As soon as a band 'breaks it big', they head for the south.
In the recent past a fair few Manchester bands managed to resist the temptation of basing themselves in London.
Up here, we like to do things our own way, but sooner or later the pressure to move usually wins out. Shame really.

cardboard adolescent 06-04-2007 04:11 PM
