well, i have mixed feelings.

I liked it, but i thought the violence was unnecessary, as was the language. They took what could have been a great kids movie, threw in some torture scenes and bam, slapped an r-rating on it.

not enough focus on the magic, i honestly didnt care too much for gneral's story line. I wanted to see some magic shiz! >:[

But it wasnt meant for kids! It was an Aduts Fairy Tail. If it was jsut another G Sleeping beauty fairy tail thanm it would have been boaring! the violene made it interesting!

One of the best films I've seen recently.

I saw it in theaters a while back right after the Oscar hype. Easily a new favorite. I argued with my fiance about the magic being real or not. I still think it was all her imagination. Nothing proves it to be actually there.

You sound like my brother.

If you want magic and a weak plot watch Harry Potter.

I argued the same thing with my sister. I was inclined to think that it was all her imagination, pure escapism, she was more romantic about it and was convinced it was all real. It could basically go either way, although the last scene sort of goes in her (your fiancee's) favor.
