I'm going to watch some real racing this weekend, I am going to the Nascar race in Michigan. Nascar is far superior to F1 for these reasons:

1) You can bring your own beer

2) Hundreds of competitive passes every race

3) You can bring your own beer
Isn't Nascar just a bunch of cars going around in circles...?
And what's up with the Canada comment..?

1) Circles create velocity and momentum

2) a lot more work goes into pit stops, there is a jackman and 5 lugnuts on every wheel. It takes 7 men for a service and they pull it off in 14 seconds

3) Races are rarely won in qualifying

4) hundreds of competitive passes all over the racetrack at every race, in the entire 2003 F1 season there were 4

5) It is a very fan accessable sport, they have many meet and greets with all of your favorite drivers free of charge

6) there are in excess of 160,000 people at almost every race depending on seating capacity, Talladega Superspeedway routinely packs in a quarter of a million people at both of it's races every year

7) My favorite part of the race is the singing of the star spangled banner,it may sound funny coming from a Canadian however once that anthem starts you can hear a pin drop and it finishes of with 4 F-14's buzzing the speedway. Say what you want about Americans but they really know how to do things right

8) The cars actually sound like cars, not sewing machines

As for the Canada comment:

First of all french Canadians are scum and the stands are mostly full of corporate fat cats that wouldn't know a brake disc from a compact disc because the tickets are so outragously priced that no one can afford them. As for Montreal......................it is a cesspool of scum. Just so Right-Track can relate, it is Canada's Liverpool

Somehow I find that hard to believe. I would actually find "hundreds" of competitive passes in one race a bit monotonous...:-/

It's actually not monotonous at all, it is exciting knowing that any one of 43 cars has a chance at the win

I don't mind touring cars.

But then I would say that because the current World Champion is a Guernseyman

Sky and BBC to share UK F1 television coverage from 2012 to 2018 - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

Well this is a big load of ****ing balls anyway. Only showing half the races on BBC next year and those without Sky Sports like myself miss out on the other half. Hard to make sense of this.

if Sky don't have Martin Brundell's grid-walks, I'm going to riot.

More than likely not as he'll probably have a contract with BBC only, not unless they have their own version of it which really just wouldn't be the same would it? BBC have always done great coverage of F1, especially in the Murray Walker days, and now Sky want to make some money off it. Wouldn't be surprised to see BBC coverage gone altogether in a few years time.

I just hope to god that Sky don't hire that boring bastard James 'Tyre Stratagy' Allen to commentary.
