Sex Offender in MY Neighbourhood

A convicted sex offender named Kenneth Wayne Gillespie who is considered by police to be highly dangerous to the public and a high risk to reoffend just moved into my neighbourhood 2 days ago. He just served over 20 yrs in total in prison for 9 seperate charges. He's a serial rapist and child molestor. He moved into a house 2 doors down from my best friend's place where i spend most of my time. Most Definetly not stoked on this whole situation.

Sex offender asks Nanaimo for a 'chance'

^little bit on him.

chumb 06-21-2007 01:40 PM

NICE! Go tap that shit son!

Laces Out Dan! 06-21-2007 01:41 PM

yea, he invited me over for cookies and candy and he wants me to see his puppy dogs :)

chumb 06-21-2007 01:42 PM

It's like having a really easy chick move into the neighborhood, except with a giant penis.

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 06-21-2007 03:31 PM

You live in Nanaimo? Cool, my aunt used to live near there.

Voice_of_the_Soul12,13,01 06-21-2007 06:29 PM

Get a blank sign or something and write "Sex Offender" on the front, and stick it in his front yard. If he gives you any guff about violating his constitutional rights, say, "You **** children. you don't deserve any rights."

jackhammer 06-21-2007 06:37 PM

Just firebomb the c[u]nts house. I have no time for these people. Once? well there maybe imitigating circumstances-twice-guilty as charged.

Voice_of_the_Soul12,13,01 06-21-2007 06:53 PM

Rape should be punishable by death. To have to use sexuality in order to gain power is really pathetic.

Frances 06-21-2007 08:17 PM

Heard any Gary Glitter pumpin in your street yet? I think (if not death) that sex offenders should lose their right to protection in jail. If they knew 10 guys were going to rape them in return and then rip them to pieces, maybe they'd reconsider.

I completely disagree with you. I hate rape and sex crimes as much as anyone else, but I don't believe any crime should be punishable by death. And here in the United States people have rights even if they are/were criminals. I hope to God it stays that way. Our rights are under attack enough as it is.

Voice_of_the_Soul12,13,01 06-22-2007 12:34 AM

If you're actions interfere with the rights of someone else, you don't deserve your freedom. If your actions interfere with and screw up the lives of others, you don't deserve your life.

That's just the way I think. Death should be reserved for those who abuse life.

Republican logical fallacy much?

Voice_of_the_Soul12,13,01 06-22-2007 01:55 AM

No. I just think that a person who performs certain atrocities doesn't deserve a shot at redemption. No one should be forgiven because "It's the right and good thing to do." No justice is served.

Perhaps I missed something, but where did the word 'paedophile' or any suggestion of paedophilia, appear in that article? It says the guy's a sex offender against women, nothing about children is mentioned in the bit about his offences.

Just thought it was worth mentioning. If people are going to burn the guy then it'd be nice to have got the reasons for burning him straight to begin with. Also, learn to read.

Incidentally, if the guy at the childcare centre in the article has employed more staff then is he actually making it more likely that people there will be harassed by Gillespie? Meaning, if Gillespie has a history of sexual offences against adult women then increasing the number of staff (which mostly means employing more adult women, most workers there would be adult women I'm pretty sure) increases the number of targets. What he should do is employ men with guns. Or ugly women.

"To ensure that none of my staff are victims of sexual offences, I've made sure I only hire really ugly people."

Gillespie has been freed already, that's half of what the thread was about!

Or was he offering us a free Gillespie? Our own Gillespie, at no cost?

I've just spent the last two months working in a cambodian orphanage. Quite a few of my kids were rescued from brothels after being sold as sex slaves. The youngest of these is a nine year old girl. She had been working as a prostitute for over a year by the time she was rescued. Somehow she managed to escape contracting an STD, but it's impossible not to see how much it's damaged her. I don't think you'd be preaching about rights being infringed if you'd met one of these kids. Child rapists anywhere in the world aren't human to be capable of that much evil. Every human being deserves the rights we enjoy in the western world, but anyone who would harm these kids as much as they have don't deserve to live.

Bane of your existence 07-01-2007 03:38 AM

You're all forgetting that no kids were harmed. The OP said child molestor, but the article didn't say anything about it. I agree with Alexander. Especially when there are cases like Genarlow Wilson's Genarlow Wilson Rejects Plea Deal - News Story - WSB Atlanta I think some of the laws are too harsh. Death penelty is too much.

jibber 07-01-2007 03:46 AM

^thirty seconds on google gave me this. Yes, he IS a child molester.

'Leave me alone,' says sex offender

if you don't want to bother with the full article, here:

"Gillespie, 60, has been convicted of nine sexual offences against women of all ages, beginning nearly 40 years ago when he attacked two 11-year-old girls when he was 17."

say what you will, but my opinion will never change. I've met far too many rape victims, children and adults, to consider a repeat offender like him to be a human being deserving of a second chance.

Bane of your existence 07-01-2007 08:33 AM

Oh my bad, what can I say, I skim.

Laces Out Dan! 07-01-2007 01:00 PM

Ok, who cares if he raped children or didn't. He raped SOMEONE, and that's reason enough to cast him out of society. Perhaps throw him naked in a wooded area, where he'll have to fend off hungry animals just like himself.

Democracy doesn't allow true justice, or at least no ours.

I'm just spit balling here, boss. You use chalk on the drawing board for a reason.

I know; have him chained to the ground, and have his family and friends who once loved him stop by and ridicule him and treat him like the invalid he is. Of course, this could only work if he had a conscience.

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 07-02-2007 09:48 PM

And for all you know his friends and family still love him even though he's done wrong.

Novel idea, I know.

Its nice to know you have the same sense of decency as most murderers and rapists.
