the bravery ofcourse, i really don't understand the comparison between kaiser chiefs and franz ferdinand...kaiser chiefs r brit rock not new wave and have one great song..i predict a riot others dont come close...
but to move on i downloaded the latest hot hot heat album - elevator and i just couldn't help but to spread the word...EXELENTE..MUY EXELENTE!!!
the bravery are awsome..i would say slightly better that the killers cause they have more songs ( they each have one dodgy song in my opinion - the killers the last song and the bravery give in )..but hot hot heat.. not a single weaker song..fantastic...way better then the first one..i also like bloc party franz, the killers the arcade fire, interpol and the kings of leon...i can't belive how much great music im listening to in the last 3 months...i've discovered a new great band or album every week...its been crazy!!

The Kinks are probably the most British of British bands and Ray Davies has to be one of the most original songwriters ever!

something like 11 UK top 20 hits in a space of only 3 years...awesome.

I'd like to erase the entire first year of my presence here. :[

You can chalk it down to being prepubescent, I have no excuse for being a complete retard. I swear, people grow up exponentially on-line.

Hahahahahaha, I'm loving Don's first post. It pretty much sums up everything you ever need to know about him...

as for my first post..

Guess the thread?

Superb band, Gateway is a mind blowingly good album.
On Bongzilla. Not very interesting.

In "What is your favorite punk band?"

wasn't Jesus an arab? Whatever.

favorite punk band? pere ubu... too weird for punk.

fugazi? more alternative i guess.

i guess stiff little fingers at the moment although I think my love for old Bad Religion and the Stooges and dead kennedys will persevere. oh, and black flag/adolescents/agent orange/circle jerks are great too.

I cheated, didn't I?

(oh, and offspring were a punk band once.)
