I miss baking but haven't really done it regularly since I moved to my new place two years ago.

I walk to most places even in the winter. Parking is expensive here and taking transit can be a hassle sometimes!

Weird artsy stuff, disc golfing, fishing, metal detecting, vocalizing, kayaking, vidder gams, shooting, Warhammer 40k, various tabletop rpg's, making random stuff with power tools, collecting dead stuff.

Trying the last few days to add 'exercising' to that list... not going so well. Starting to reach that age where all my terrible habits are catching up to me, gotta make it a point to be more active before its too late. So hard when the weather sucks.

I play all the time. I was on a few leagues some years back. I ain't no Fast Eddie, but I can run a break once in a while. My boss here at work on the other hand... he went pro a few years back and got beat out by Allison Fisher for a chance at ESPN stardom. I like to dig that in every once in a while.

haha thats awesome man. i just wanna be good enough to go to the bar and hold my own vs some of the better guys. i have really good touch and am good at setting myself up for future shots. where i struggle is the long shots across the length of the table. my accuracy long range isnt great and i dont seem to have the same velocity on my shots that the better players do

I hear ya on the long real estate shots. Depending on how much liquor I got in me, I'll usually miss too. You should only need a bit of velocity to set up any after shot that may need it. I work on finesse more than anything. Running a tight grouped up bunch with little more than a few taps kinda thing.

Obviously one of my hobbies is listening to and playing music.

I like to go outside and play basketball. In the evenings, I spend a few hours reading. I like philosophy.

Something I'd really like to do more of is go outside through parks or nature reserves. I have field guides but I have never used the to become familiar with nature around me, and I think that would be very rewarding.

I've taken a liking to watching horror films for cynical witticism fodder.
