I agree that we are evolving mentally but not physically necissarily, it's more of a case to case basis considering i'm 5'9" and the midget in my family cause my grandmother is 6' my mom is 5'10". Therefore in my family the women are getting shorter in each generation, while in your the men are getting taller in each generation.

I agree that there are subtle physical changes. Mentally I think not. We may profess our importance and understanding of issues, but we are still at the 1/5 of brainpower stage that we have been at for thousands of years. We have made technological advancements beyond our wildest dreams, but we still do not know anymore than we knew then. If we did, then we would not be hellbent on killing ourselves.

who says we're hellbent on killing ourselves? Humans are driven by self-interest not self-destruction.

What is all this crap about humans only using a small percentage of our brains? We generally only fire up neurons in certain areas at certain times, but pretty much all parts of the brain get used during the course of the day. Just not all simultaneously. To use all parts of the brain simultaneously would be bad technique and inefficient. The brain would use too much energy, and would overheat. Or you'd go MAAAAAD.
