yeah... mine sucks quite badly hese days, need more ram...

Anyone here make the mistake of getting vista?

I did, but it's nothing the first service pack release won't straighten out.
XP was worse on first release.

I don't plan on upgrading any time in the near future. As far I hear, it doesn't support squat.

my laptop's got an intel dual core processor 2 gigs, 2 gigs of ram, nvidia 8600m gt graphics card, playing video games gets a bit choppy sometimes but it's definitely a self-contained entertainment system.. i've got a 22 inch monitor for it which works really well for movies, been downloading a ton of movies and watching them. i've also go it hooked up to an external hd for all my music.

intel p4 processor 2 gigs, 512mb ram, Geforce FX 5200 graphics card
250gb Internal drive and 160gb external drive where I keep my movies, music and photos. XP home edition. I use this system mostly for online gaming....
