What browser do you use?

I am using the latest version of OPERA, and having been using OPERA for nearly two years and I love it's features and add ons. Is it the best though for features AND speed? I now have a 20mb connection and was trying to find ways of tweaking my system to maximise my speed. What browser do you use and what are the benefits to you?

Son of JayJamJah 09-27-2007 11:33 AM

I use Mozilla Foxfire now, after years of aol and internet explorer, I find it is easier to navigate and has very few if any pop-ups getting through. I also like the name, sounds like an Indian chief.

Mouseketeer 09-27-2007 11:36 AM

Mozilla Firefox ftw.

jackhammer 09-27-2007 11:41 AM

99.9% of pop ups never get through when using OPERA, and I have never had a problem with it except it has it's own download manager, when I would prefer to use a separate programme.

Mouseketeer 09-27-2007 11:46 AM

Mine's pink and that's all I care about.

It's just a coincidence it's a pretty good browser too.

Sparky 09-27-2007 05:45 PM

firefox, opera is just too weird. They're tabs are above the address bar WTF?

djchameleon 09-27-2007 06:40 PM

Mozilla Firefox for me too, before I found firefox, I used to use msn explorer...which is pretty fast and minimal on the popups

It's not that difficult ffs.

Wayfarer 09-27-2007 07:25 PM

Used Opera for a while. Got a new computer, downloaded Firefox. I like Firefox quite a bit more. Opera was good too though, from what I remember. Which isn't much, because I was always high.

I've had AOL since my family first got a computer-never had a problem.

djchameleon 09-28-2007 02:02 AM

AOL? *pukes* I wonder why majority of females love using Aohell

The Dave 09-28-2007 11:57 AM

^Because it's just a browser, it's not terrible, still navigates through the internet, and since not many people know enough to understand how much AOL clogs up your crap, they just use that.

I use FF, I've never tried Opera because FF is good enough for me.

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 09-28-2007 05:37 PM

I use Opera.

adidasss 09-29-2007 01:34 AM

Firefox, and I'm really happy to hear most people are not using IE. I remember not so long ago when it covered virtually 90% of the market. I also remember a time when Netscape what the most popular browser....lol. It came back in style...:yeah:

jelaci aman 09-29-2007 01:58 AM

Opera.

holdyoualways 09-29-2007 02:02 AM

ill use ie for stuff that doesnt work on firefox

anticipation 09-29-2007 08:51 AM

Comcast Broadband.

turtles ftw.

stakeraiser 09-29-2007 09:00 AM

firefox

Jonz 09-29-2007 10:00 AM

Been using IE for as long as I've had the Internet. Love the IE7 interface, the only thing that pisses me off is when plugins decide to crash (namely Adobe Flash Player) but that has rarely happened of late.

jackhammer 09-29-2007 10:38 AM

OMG I.E user! I hate I.E. Try OPERA it's the shiz!

Sparky 09-29-2007 11:58 AM

the good thing about I.E is that its at least really lightweight, and not the huge resource hog that opera/firebox are.

ProggyMan 09-30-2007 02:21 PM

Safari ftw.

Seltzer 09-30-2007 08:01 PM

I use Firefox, but Opera is great as well. I'd say Opera is on par with pre-2.0 FF but FF is now in the lead.

DeVicci 10-01-2007 06:42 PM

I use Firefox at home and at work. IE sucks a big one.

Kirsty1991 10-02-2007 12:54 PM

I used to use IE, but I use Firefox now... it's a fox on fire... other than a blue e... waaay cooler. =]

Gaelle 10-04-2007 04:56 PM

Firefox is the best :D
but as I get my macbook today, perhaps I will use safari as well^^

Kevorkian Logic 10-06-2007 10:33 AM

I go between firefox and Opera, but I usually use firefox.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 10-07-2007 01:01 AM

IE=suxor

It's all about Mozilla. The quick link bar is easy...and I just find it to be the cleanest.

jasongs89 10-10-2007 09:24 PM

I have firefox and I.E. but use mostly firefox.. it works better.

Sparky 10-11-2007 05:48 PM

i just started using flock
its the same as firefox, just slightly easier and looks smexier

ProggyMan 10-11-2007 10:21 PM

Safari has a great interface. I hate my Mac otherwise.

littleliza 10-11-2007 11:16 PM

explorer. I like it. its the old one too, without the tabs. I did have the new one downloaded, but my work is on the internet, and i got frustrated, so after a couple minutes of not being used to the differences i got rid of it.

sinister 10-14-2007 08:41 AM

I use Safari, it has a nice interface.

ProggyMan 10-14-2007 11:01 AM

Lol.

It's almost exactly what I said. I just find it amusing, I don't know why.

right-track 10-14-2007 12:24 PM

Proggy...stop posting just for the sake of posting please.

Dr_Rez 10-15-2007 09:21 PM
