It always seems hug drugs are very heavily associated with city-folk. I guess because of the close proximity to others. I read a book on raving a few years back and apparently the culture started off in the country which is surprising.

I've had my experiences with almost everything i would even want to try and have enjoyed it all, but I've yet to try LSD though I do want to. I smoke pot, ive taken shrooms, popped multiple pills, and have even tripped on cough medicine, i used to drink bottles of Delsum (a very strong cough syrup), and just enjoy life all day, and wake up feeling the greatest I've ever felt in the morning. I'll admit it may not be the best thing in the world to do, but i really don't care, i enjoy it, I am responsible with it, and I don't force my opinion onto others that do or do not partake, but for f*ck sake, be safe if your gonna do it.

i have never really had much of an urge to do cough medicine save a couple times when i couldnt find weed/alcohol. i havent tried it but i would think there are some pretty annoying side effects.

You would be MUCH safer just buying pure DXM. Its not very expensive, and there are really no bad side affects like there is with syrup (which is nasty in itself).

yeah, DXM, couldn't remember that for some reason lol. Anyway, yeah the only side effect is the "After Glow" you experience the whole next day, which is actually very soothing it leaves you feeling lite imo. I enjoyed doing it but I had my one experience that messed with me and I leave it be, but def still one of my favorite kinda trips. Mixed with shrooms once for one hell of a loopy ride, but all good.

yea one of the reasons i never tried it was that i always seem to have a sore throat the next morning if i take a decent amount of medicine.

I'm quite happy without drugs - or at least I don't feel like I need anything besides alcohol now and then and the occasional caffeine in the morning. I'll admit drugs scare me a little, especially the ones that mess with your mind.
