Am I the only one who's never had this happen to them? Nothing I've ever smoked has ever been resinous enough to leave my oil on my lips. Over the past 7+ years I've bought/grown/been gifted with, in my opinion, some of the frostiest bud's on planet Earth and smoked in nearly every fashion imaginable. Moreover, the only people I know who do get "T lips" as they're called here are those who prefer to dab concentrates from really small glass pieces, or in some cases glass with skinny ass tubes and flared mouthpieces.
