It's probably just class snobbery among certain people. Cocaine in powdered form seen as being mainly for the upper classes, and crystal meth (often called "the poor man's cocaine") seen as being mainly for the lower classes.

Same thing with pills vs. heroin.

Edit: To add to what Psy-Fi said, I've known pillheads. They're ****ty people, and the drugs they do make them ****ty people. Heroin addicts might actually be a step up. Just by chance.

Why you would want to take certified hard drugs out for a spin just because a lot of people are close minded is beyond me, especially when the open-minded people don't really want to **** with that **** either.

Coke has such short effects that you keep doing/buying more and more every second because your tolerance is building at the same time and next thing you know your hearts exploding. And what little experience I have, I'd say meth feels like a lot of other prescription amphetamines that are totally right on and fine and dandy to use because the government said so, but with a greater feeling of euphoria. It can also last way, way too long (days) and leave you in a state of psychotic insomnia probably wanting more meth. MDMA can do that too, sure, but it's cooler feeling and society likes it more.

Usually when I do MDMA it's incredible, for sure, but by the time I've fully come down I'm ready to sleep. It may be difficult to sleep but I'm not compelled to keep going. It's late, the party is over, time to go to bed. I've never felt the desire of wanting more and more. Although I did go through a period where I was doing ecstasy at least once a week for a month or two.

The only other time I've done any amphetamine it was awesome. And meth should be (supposably) awesomer. I bought a half gram for ten dollars that I found on the ground then smoked it and found that wasn't true for me, and ten dollars is a half gram which should do the trick, but it didn't do much of anything aside from a mild mood elevation and jaw clench, and now it's not interesting anymore.

I guess the government knows what it's all about, even though alcoholics can be some of the worst people on the planet, dunno what that had to do with anything
