Socialism gives equality. Until equality is achieved, neither is socialism. It's not that hard to understand.

Then socialism can't work under a government.

I thought I'd established that without him working in his job you'd be running to the toilet to throw up for a week after every time you ate at a restaurant. Coming from a well-to-do middle-class background may have warped your view on jobs that are good or not, but the bottom end ones are usually the most necessary ones when you get down to it. Being a builder may not be as glamorous and well paid as being a lawyer but who does a greater service to society?

Not really. If he wasn't working his job because he chose to pursue his studies, then somebody else would have his job and they would get paid more because of the demand.

And why is greed, selfishness and hoarding right?
I really hope you're not Christian. That would be the cherry of irony.

I never said charity was wrong. I said forced charity is wrong. This is because you have a government forcing you to pay for a cause you may not agree with. I mean look at it this way. Every citizen is supporting the Iraq war financially whether they agree with it or not. Is it right?

Don't make me explain stories about a poor people have risen to the big top. I hear many of them. In fact my friends dad was a poor Mexican immigrant and because he managed his studies, he has been able to be the president of his company in the SA region. He is pretty rich now too. I wish everyone would put effort into what they do.

I've been loving Inuzuka Skysword's posts, where he'll say something contentious but pretty valid and then back it up with the worst possible examples. e.g.

I can admit to that. That is why I can't teach people anything. I tried to tutor someone once and it didn't work out well.

Which, unless you are talking about yourself specifically and you are already your town basketball hero this is not true at all. Love the logic though.

Look at Sebastian Telfair. I don't even he practiced the routine I mentioned, but he practiced a lot and made it out of the ghetto.

A government dictating or a business dictating.

The government has more power than the business so I would therefore go with the business. Governments aren't needed. Without a government people would have more money because we wouldn't have to pay people to make dumb decisions on how we should live.
