indeed it did get buried.

panbient is a made up word i wanted to use to describe the music my friends and i made in our first 'band'. we called ourselves 'panda go panda' and we wanted to add some ambient elements to our music. hence the mashup of the words panda and ambient. thanks for getting the name right too, had more than a few people call me paMbient, thinking i was a Pamela that enjoyed ambient music.

i still use and plan to continue using that moniker in the future. i chose a different user name for this site because i wanted a fresh start as i know i'm not the only person who participates on multiple music forums.

Sorry man, should've PM'd you on that one I guess. I didn't know it was such a secret. Even though your status says "I'm mr. dave". Glad to clear that up, I always wondered what it meant.

i find it rather amusing when new forumites start here, don't get enough attention, somehow find out about the other place. figure they've got a better shot at fitting in there and then post about how they're coming back here.

the two forums have about as much in common as sun ra and elliott smith
