I've seen that picture as well... it's supposed to encourage people not to get tattoos because they won't look good years down the track, yet that woman's ink still looks pretty good if you ask me!

i had a dream last night i got this horrid mess of a tattoo on my right wrist, and i absolutely hated it. it reminded me why ill probably never get a tattoo, my tastes in stuff change easily. so im scared ill get a tattoo then end up thinking its horrific looking a few years later. boooo. i love looking at peoples tattoos thoughl, its a great way of expressing art, which im all for!

When I was 18 I got the word iron tattooed on my back as a joke. Friends used to call me iron maiden as a joke. This is due to me fathers and my last name is truly maiden. So the idea is to get just iron because I am maiden. LOL in other words I'm an idiot and don't think about things before I do them.

i think that was implied. i (probably) won't get a tattoo because my body just doesn't like ink being made a permanent park of it, although a vine up my back is very tempting. I think i'll stick to henna (sp.?)

Oh god... I would hate myself if I did something like that. I never used to have interest in tattoos of my own, but I actually have a reason to get one now. The problem is, I haven't the slightest idea what to get or where to get it. Hopefully I'll figure something out one of these days.

So I was sitting here listening to Holland, 1945 thinking, and it hit me. I want to get a comet with the lyrics "And now he rides the comet's flames, and won't be coming back again, the earth looks better from a star that's right above from where you are" and a scroll around it that says RIP, or initials, or 1989-2009, or something like that. Any opinions on this? Is it a stupid idea? I'm not sure where or it would be, or what exactly it would look like, but that is my favorite song by the best album by one of my favorite bands, and Jenna is the one that got me into them back in the day and she loved it more than me. I'm going to probably stay up way too late drawing some ideas (even though I'm not an artist) so I'll see if I can scan them in or something somehow.

I think that's a lovely idea. I fully support memorial tattoos.

this is a good example of the only reason i would get a tattoo, that should be beautiful.
