I've already got a tattoo on my spine between my shoulder blades... so if I did anymore ink on my spine it would be on my lower back, and I'm not too fond of those since they're... 'tramp stamps' as many say. But I've always contemplated getting something by Alex Grey (does all the visual art for Tool), it's tempting!

I thought it would symbolise my time spent in New Zealand as well, seeing as it was in New Zealand years ago that I first read the book and also in New Zealand where I went on this epic LOTR tour. But I don't know... I don't know what I would get! Maybe something written in Elvish, although I would die if the translation was wrong or something. Or maybe one of Tolkien's little drawings that he did that appeared in some of the books.

Tattoos are not something to take lightly though as you live with them for the rest of your life so maybe I'll just have to give all of these ideas a lot more thought!

Thank you. It does, but I'd rather shy away from that subject. It keeps these things extra special to me. Tats blow my mind. Looking at one can open a huge world.

Has anyone heard of Shelley Jackson (I think thats her name, its been quite a while now)?
She wrote a story a few years ago, called skin, then had thousands of volunteers to get each word (referred to as words), including punctuation, anywhere on their body. After the story was complete, it was to be released, but only to the participants.
