Sardonic and surreal! I love the colors -- is this a watercolor?

Indeed it is. It's not so saturated in regular light though. The scanner bleaches everything, and then I used photoshop to compensate for that, and as a result it's a bit off.

I actually think the bleached effect conveys more of the sense of the horse being blottoed.
Great work Pedestrian, looking forward to seeing more from you.

Ah, thanks. It's meant to be childish and mildly disturbing at the same time. I just hope people don't see it and literally think a child has created it, because what I've done doesn't show that I have much skill at all.

I beg to differ. A lot of skill was required to create that. The drawing itself is very skillful, your sense of proportion is excellent.

(And no one will think a child created this, that's for sure. )

This is probably the best piece of art I've ever achieved and it's alright. I'd hate to imagine how bad my painting is now but paint and shit is so damn expensive.

These are great! I especially love the way you used transparent layers of color in the first one.

I was thinking that, I hadn't seen that last time I was in but they're good! They remind me of a book we used to read in primary school, about a guy called Chip or something and he had a dog.

@Po, cheers I'd absolutely love to get back into painting but it's a near impossibility to do anything in my house that requires concentration. I wonder if I would be any good after smoking. Hmm... I may buy paint to test the theory
