I hope I will grow out of it, because as of now, people stating idiotic things and defending them till they die is the thing that makes me wish to get as far from humanity, other people and the society as a whole and wish to just have a small house in the middle of the jungle far away from everybody.

I'd rather deal with instinct-based creatures, rather than knowledge/reasoning based ones. At least the instinct based ones are always true and don't have absurd convictions.
Yeah this sounds rough. From what I hear about the Russian education system I can maybe imagine what you had to deal with.

If you want a corrective experience, however, you're at the right place. If you have the time, you can audit some amazing lecture at the Collège de France.

I think he's Polish so his education would have been largely screen door installation and maintenance.

Welcome to MB Cassy! You had some good answers and the one about your ex-boyfriend made me laugh!

The way this thread usually works: every Saturday someone posts six questions which we all go through together. Last Saturday we had the honour of having questions set by FETCHER:

1. Which team do you want to win the World Cup?

2. What book are you reading right now? Or if you’re not reading anything, what tv show are you watching?

3. Have you ticked off anything on your bucket list? If so, what?

4. Do you have any weird personality traits or quirks?

5. What’s your favourite way to listen to music and why? Eg. Commuting

6. Would you go to the moon given the chance? Why or why not?
Next Saturday, there should be a bunch of new ones.
