Why is it that all these American report news shows make me ****ing cringe when they cover this stuff? I mean, did they tell that guy to thank the lord for their show? I don't find things that crtingey usually, I actually find cringey things funny on occasion, but this **** just makes me feel sick. I have seen a few of them now, the way the news reporters word what they are saying, it all seems kind of...presumptuous or something, I dunno. It almost takes away from the massive tragedy that they are talking about, as if it is some ****ing television show or something, I dunno... Things like this make something so awful and tragic seem so superficial.

It is a TV show. You don't think most of the people watching the news coverage aren't at least partly entertained? It's like people slowing down to look at a car wreck. The news is just giving the people what they want: murder, rape, political scandals, and mass shootings.

I doubt it. There are a lot of religious nuts in Colorado. This guy's probably one of them.

I think what you're experiencing is just a difference in culture. The news from countries other than one's own often seems weirdly handled.

I get that completely. When i travel around even the United States, watching the news feeds seems almost foreign to me. I think we grow comfortable with our own news teams and its hard to accept something different.

I really hate working with IT people who are less knowledgeable about computers than I am. And I'm not saying I'm that good, I'm saying he's that bad.

That is all.

I know exactly how that feels. When I used to build websites with HTML, there were a lot of simple tags and such that some people didn't know that were more than obvious. Some people don't use common sense.

I mean...it can't be that hard to figure out that a "break" is the <br> tag. Or editing a font color requires the <font color> tag. SO COMPLICATED.

I have no problem with some random person who isn't very computer literate. What I'm talking about is IT people, people whose job it is to be knowledgeable about computers. It's like talking to a mechanic who doesn't know shit about cars.

I know. I was just using an example. If they continue to show that they don't know about what they're getting paid for, I can imagine they won't be getting paid for it that much longer.

It shat me when I did a short course in design for multimedia and I knew more than the guy running it. It was obvious most of his skills were in bull****ting his way into getting funding.
