That could very well be. My assumption is that when she dated the first *******, he damaged her psyche somehow. She was never the same after that.

Yeah the only time I'd be jealous is if I thought she was ending up with someone genuinely better than me. That's never been the case, especially now. Zero prospects. Wants to go on welfare. Complains to her and makes her send him money. She is going to have a horrible future. I genuinely feel bad.

That's what I thought, up until she said, "I love you. I've always loved you. You were always the one I thought I'd end up with" And the kiss, in which she tugged on my lip with her teeth. Lots of tongue. And the dinner/brownies she made me on Valentine's Day. And the fact that she told me she wanted a boy named Aiden, and where she wants to live.
