that actually might be true dj

i know you spread germs with your hand and could make others sick but im sayin that if you have a history of not washin your hands, wouldnt you be introducin germs to your body early in life and thus build the immune system?? i dunno i mean in not a doctor

unrelated beard complaint i have. i periodically shave but have not shaved my goatee in a handful of months. so my chin beard is really long and it gets tangled sometimes when i sleep, plus i stroke it a lot (my beard lol) and a few hairs get tangled and its an annoyance but i like the look

Nope, that statement isn't true. It's just an excuse for nasty guys to be disgusting that's why I always use a paper towel to open the door because of you nasty mother fuckers that don't want to wash your hands.

that theory of yours applies more to people that over does it when it comes to hand santizer. Now that's not healthy but washing your hands with regular soap is. The germ particles that come from the bathroom are toxic and you can get e. coli from it.

Also why don't you brush/comb your beard every day.

I am the worst person to end up on a group project with. My idea of collaboration is to go "TRUST ME I AM GENIUS", and then take the entire project by force and ride it into the sunset like a warhorse.

But that doesn't change the fact that I know how to do this and obviously nobody else does.

I am perfectly happy to have someone who's just along for the ride and wants a free A+ for staying out of my way, so long as I am actually able to complete it on my onesy.

Unfortunately, most of the people I've been in groups with are the kind that sorta care, but don't really understand, making them stubborn, easily confused, and hard to direct.

When I did my first degree I was exactly the same about group responsibilities. I often took over the project and made sure it was perfect (I'm a perfectionist, for example I did a project last week and got 94% when I thought I'd get 100%). There was one occasion that my group members were really annoying and focused too much on the photos for the slide, rather than the speeches we had to give. I ended up prepared and they were writing their speeches just before our turn. I told my lecturer and he gave me a higher mark rather than the group mark. So if that happens to you, you might want to discuss it with your lecturer.

Put in the ol' Gryffindor push, let them know you're the boss bitch and what you say goes. Just pretend you're Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, and get that **** done

Lmao I was always that person in group projects but no one dared question me

Paedantic Basterd 11-04-2013 07:48 PM

I've thrown people under the bus to preserve my work before, but I feel completely justified given the circumstances.

Sansa Stark 11-04-2013 07:49 PM

Oh I feel you, I'd rather not turn it in and get an F than have a ****ty, sloppy project.

i think ya either gotta be all in or all out

i took some agriculture class one time where we had to do an ethics project complete with a presentation then a debate/question and answer session. and we rated our teammates on how well they worked and contributed and all my team mates gave me 0's for everythin since i blew the entire thing off. but when it came to the debate and question and answer thing they were all a bunch of indecisive pussies so i took the reigns and dominated everyone so the teacher just gave me an a+ on it.

that really had nothin to do with anythin but i wanted to share and relive that moment lol
