Is there anything more annoying than someone who is constantly talking about themselves and their ~problems to you yet only (and insincerely) ask you about yourself once in a while?!!?

There is this fucking girl who follows me, shes like 17 or something and she's constantly messaging me to talk about some dude she "has a crush on" but more like she's fucking stalking him. She keeps asking me what to do since she hasn't even bothered to talk to him, but rather just keeps note of his comings and goings and every mundane ass detail about him, I have to fucking hear about it. she tells me that her parents won't let her date w/o them chaperoning, and it's like dude what the fuck do you want me to tell you? And it's just funny because she reads my blog and knows I'm juggling ass many dudes right now/dealing with being crazy and she has the gall to tell me HER life is a soap opera? Like I dont want to be a dick and just say "leave me alone" though but she is irritating the fuck out of me. She NEVER bothers to let me talk about myself or anything, but I have to hear all about her ~crush

I know you don't want to be mean but what happened to you being upfront and all that jazz?

Seems a bit deceptive to not tell her how you are feeling about her little drama show she has going on.

IDK I just don't want to be mean to her I guess :/ And yeah I do but I was a lot different than she is but I wasn't selfish like that. I always/ have always listened to other people

Well when I meant you being her age was referring more to how you felt your whole life was so much more important that it really is.

It's kind of a teenager phase thing that we eventually grow out of. So to her, what she is going through is a soap opera even though it's really Mickey Mouse Club drama compared to what you are really going through.
