Do you get headaches too if you stop wearing them for a few hours? I only really got diagnosed last year, before that I was short sighted but even then the optician said my left eye was weaker, which would make you think as a professional he would educate me on it.

Karen has that too, but for her it's more a case of everything she looks at seeming to jump up and down. She can't read, can see like something on a screen but can't focus on it enough to read it. Really sucks as she used to love reading, now I have to be her eyes.

If it gets worse Jess, which I hope it won't, and you need something read you know where to send it.

Sorry for both of you. I know how much it makes me appreciate my even deficient eyesight: at least I only have to wear glasses and can see relatively well with them on. Feel for you girls.

I'm always wearing my glasses because I literally can't function without them.

The only time I'm not wearing them is when I'm in the shower or sleeping (and I usually get a headache after I wash my hair because of how long I have to go without my glasses).

Is that because your hair is long? Mine is nearly down to my waist but luckily I can shower without it giving me a headache.

Trollheart, I really feel for Karen, it would be bloody awful not being able to read books for example.

I have cramps at the moment, bloody body. Like, abdominal cramps. Oh and I need like $9000 worth of dental work done.

I too receive headaches due to the weight of my own wet hair. It's very thick. A friend recently found a strand of it and remarked that it looked like fishing line.
