Brother, I understand why you want to cut ties, but remember there is something deeper there that is making her use it. Believe that. You don't have to hang out with her, but at least answer her calls if she should ring you, because you never know, that day you pick up the phone could be the day you save her life. I get bitched out for never turning my phone off, but I have peps that are special to me that have issues like that, and I don't want there to ever come a day when I have to look myself in in the mirror and say you should have, could have, or if you had. I couldn't live with myself. :) Some friendly advice. You don't have to be part of her nefarious dealings and doings, but just be there as a shoulder.

Dammit I keep thinking it's Paul, I'm so confused! Although I did used to have Jackhammer's face as my avatar, it was great.

American-built cars are basically heaps of scrap metal.

Driving a Buick is like walking on eggshells. I'm almost expecting it to shit itself in the next few months, because it's a Buick.

I used to drive a Plymouth Acclaim. It only lasted 18 years and then it was done for (after countless repairs, that is). We just build pieces of shit here for some reason.

Eventually you'll just end up hating them anyway, so it's just better to cut ties while you can at least still feel sorry for them.

It really is hard to see both things happen. I've had friend who've tried to rob me in the "look the other way" situation I described, I don't want to go through that again. Not because of the physical loss from robbery (he didn't get away with it, btw, I talked some sense into him), but because he would NEVER had done anything remotely along those lines to stranger let alone one of his friends.

Both of her parents are addicts so I think it's more because of how easy it is for her to get it than it is with deeper issues. That's not to say living with parents riding the brown horse doesn't lead to problems, but I think the former is more likely. She hasn't been excommunicated yet as I'm still testing the waters with how far she's going with it, but I'll definitely keep that in mind. Maybe not delete her as an FB friend if things turn for the worst.

What's happening with Paul is just as heavy, so any reprise of him in MBer's thoughts is fine by me.

Yeah sweetie, leave a way for her to get a hold of you just in case. :) You are a good guy and people can pull you down quicker then you can pull them up. :)

Sometimes I try to listen to an album video and there seems to be an advertisement after every song. I understand that since it's a free service they have to make money with advertisements, but Jesus Christ it's getting to the point where I'll actually not watch a longer video just because it has too many advertisements.

Now stop bitching... Thanks. It will work in plug too, so you can go AFK and not have to hear the stupid ads.

Also, totally with Vanilla on the retail thing and agree with Roxy's advice. It's really not worth the aggravation.

Ford cars I will stand by. **** I had an escort that was over 20 years old with over 200k miles on it and never had a single problem, probably would still have it today if I wasn't t-boned. And my bf's dad has a taurus with over 300k on it, only repairs on the thing have been minor and expected. This is driving in brutal Michigan winters, mind you. I'd trust a Ford over most other companies, American or otherwise. I have nothing but good things to say about their vehicles.

But yeah most others, especially ****in Chryslers, total pieces of ****. I've only drove one Plymouth, a Breeze, and it was my first car so all ****ups were my own fault. Don't know many that own them though and maybe there's a reason.

Of course it's awful if that's what his friend is doing and hopefully they will get some help. But I kind of skimmed the post and realised I was confused by the avatar! I was half asleep though.
