A typo doesn't seem to be too unrealistic. I'll take a whack at it.

Hmm. I thought it was "I burned by thumb while trying to dry a bible on the fire, while thinking of people I'm infatuated with".
Sort of the same, but changes the context.
I'm sure he'll let us know which, if either, is correct.

Disclaimer: I am not sure he will let us know which is correct.

If it's any consolation the pool water is still a bit too chilly. I had to settle for just the jacuzzi.
