I just found out that a very close friend of mine has cancer. I spent most of last night at the hospital with her and her family waiting on the news from a biopsy. Colon cancer and it looks like it's spread to the liver too. All I can do is be there for her and her family, which are all really close. Her husband and me just went to see LOG and Anthrax a few weeks ago. This fucking sucks.

Surgery went well last night, and everyone seems to have a positive outlook on the road ahead, but it's a long, steep, uphill road. It's very similar to what the x-GF went through in 2012, except it's a little more advanced in it's severity. Having already gone through all that helps to prepare her for what's ahead, so that's something in our corner, and she needs all the help and support she can get right now.
