Don’t mind me, I’m just lil ol Stevie from a couple days ago thinking my agency is showing appreciation by taking me off the schedule Christmas Day and also giving me 12/26 off despite Sundays and Mondays being my regular work days — NOPE guess what it’s present day lil Stevie and I just read the policy and it requires you to work the day before or following the federal holiday to “earn” your holiday pay. I swear to god of all the dozens of jobs I’ve had this is the first time I’m not being paid for Christmas.

Aren't you working with kids or something now? Is it a company? And I never heard of anyone not automatically getting Christmas Day off. Here, if somehow you should have to work (never did, as the airport was closed, so no matter how Intel howled for their "urgent parts" the govt weren't reopening the damned airport for them so they could suck it) you get paid in compensation. The way they're doing it with you seems backwards. Also sounds illegal. Everyone should get Christmas Day off. Except that guy.
