Well, there's always booze.

Yeah **** sucks. I acknowledge that there's no guarantee that I'm living in the socialist version of the End Times and so anything I do could be or at least feel pointless. Maybe look into your local John Brown Gun Club.

This is purely reserved for the people you like. The people who suck can eat a foot.

We're all just dirt in the end.

I've kind of broadened my criteria to include people I don't care much about so long as they're not straight up arse holes. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they're going through some **** that makes them less than pleasant to be around.

Is it bad that I know the John Brown Gun Club?

Don’t mind me, I’m just lil ol Stevie from a couple days ago thinking my agency is showing appreciation by taking me off the schedule Christmas Day and also giving me 12/26 off despite Sundays and Mondays being my regular work days — NOPE guess what it’s present day lil Stevie and I just read the policy and it requires you to work the day before or following the federal holiday to “earn” your holiday pay. I swear to god of all the dozens of jobs I’ve had this is the first time I’m not being paid for Christmas.

That sucks. Your company is dumb.

Trollheart 12-29-2022 10:09 AM

Aren't you working with kids or something now? Is it a company? And I never heard of anyone not automatically getting Christmas Day off. Here, if somehow you should have to work (never did, as the airport was closed, so no matter how Intel howled for their "urgent parts" the govt weren't reopening the damned airport for them so they could suck it) you get paid in compensation. The way they're doing it with you seems backwards. Also sounds illegal. Everyone should get Christmas Day off. Except that guy.
