f*ck consider yourself lucky, relationships are HIGHLY overrated. until you're at a point in your life where you want to ACTUALLY get married (and no, being in high school and getting a promise ring doesnt count), relationships are completely and utterly pointless.

Ive got a buddy whos attending a wedding this month, let me outline the situation here.

two people end 3 year relationships with their respective exes. Days later, girl (we'll call her jane) has one night stand with guy at work, who promptly chucks her. A week or so later, girl meets one night stand's buddy (we'll call him ****), and they start dating. Two weeks after **** and jane start dating, they're apparently talking about marriage, 2 MONTHS after **** and jane have been dating (and known each other period) they're engaged.

but it's fine because they're "meant to be together"! they're "soul mates"!

my buddy's giving them about 18 months before they divorce.

You don't want a serious relationship at your age seriously, girls are immature bitches who have no sense of fidelity, trust or any of that good stuff. They're so not worth your time. Its not worth the hassle, don't get all worked up about it.
