I think I've just been a victim of a credit card hijacking... I've received a bill for 500 pounds from some British company I've never heard of...I'm having a total panic attack...500 pounds...I hope to God this can be sorted somehow...we're in the process of canceling the credit card...who knows what else has been billed to it...

^^Twat...this is serious! I'm gonna have to call them tomorrow...
|
Any idea of how or when your details got skimmed?
|
No idea, we only used it on 3 sites...amazon.co.uk being one of them, but I can't seem to be able to send them an e-mail...great customer service...:-|
|
What about when you were in England?
|
We payed the hotel with that card...I dunno...
It's weird, I never thought that could actually happen...it's a bit surreal... |
It's possible the hotel person could have sold your details on...dunno.
Don't fret though these things usually get sorted out, especially if the company turns out fake. |
hotel people can do it, easily, you give them your card to pay and they write down the number while your behind the counter.
That's why you hear of people prepaying for hotels through other services to avoid **** like that. |
I've just spoken to them and they said they're gonna reimburse us and they apologized for the inconvenience...Christ...I must've aged 10 years in the last day or two...
