i'm pissed the **** off right now. I knew it was fishy when i opened my package and noticed that the wiring harness and all the rest of the accessories were used.

When you send something back for warranty, you're supposed to get a whole new item right? Well **** no, i paid the money to ship it to them after they agreed to send me a new head unit and instead of sending me something new, i got the same exact thing i sent to them This is ****ed up and i'm pretty sure it is a scam. They could have at least let me know what they were doing instead of shipping me back the same thing. Plus, there is no excuse. They should have sent me a brand new ****ing unit under warranty anyways. ****!

Pretty much the same here. It also doesn't help that I'm running out of memory space on the computer and can't afford an EHD 'til later next month, so that means I can't go on a download-spree and make threads interesting to me. I still manage to find some old rubbish to rant on about myself though.

People burn out sooner or later. I used to have an average of over 15 posts...:\ I personally don't think this place has ever been this interesting or had this much quality posters. It's another matter that I'm too lazy to participate...

Did you get it from onlinecarstereo.com?
Cause sh!t you not, I just received my "new" Clarion head unit today and upon inspection I noticed the faceplate was dinged up. So I flip the unit and notice a refurb sticker on the bottom.

Another thing that scared me a bit is after I'd ordered over 300 dollars worth of audio stuff from them and the stuff shipped, I noticed they never sent an email notice.
On another computer, I went to their site to check the tracking info and Firefox throws up a dialogue stating that onlinecarstereo was flagged as an attack site. WTF?
Fishy.
Very fish indeed.
I'm just glad they actually sent me the merchandise.
I thought I'd been completely routed.

actually, i thought onlinecarstereo was legit. I bought an amp from them a year ago and no problems. I just realized that the company i bought it from is a major scam company. Their name is indoaudio.

iTunes is the target of my rant tonight. On my old compaq laptop I used iTunes to buy and download music. Now that I have it up and running again I was hoping I could move it over to my new computer via a Jumpdrive. While that was easy enough and I could get the albums that I had previously purchased, then ripped onto my laptop onto my new computer, the music I purchased is in a different format. This format is M4P and so far I have been unable to find a converter for free over the internet that doesn't leave some kind of audio water mark on it. Yes there are converters out there that can do it, but I have to pay. I already paid for the ****ing music and now you're telling me that I can only listen to it on YOUR program? That's not buying music, that's buying the rights to listen to it. So with that I have vowed never to buy anything from iTunes again and will actually order a physical copy of the CD from somewhere else if I cannot find it any other way. Thank you iTunes for reminding me why I download and for squashing whatever guilt I had about doing it.
