Now that truly sucks... if they have the records, they should just need ID from you and they should suck it up and take responsibility... I know, in a perfect world only would this make sense, but I get so sick of retailers screwing their customers like that.

Yeah and with video games its the worst- expensive, fragile, and horrible customer service. You would think theyd step it up

yep i got that already, but the 1 in 3 stat is of just the red ring, which they fix for free. although it is a bitch to send it away for two weeks

Not gonna lie, I think that's a VERY modest statistic. Every single one of my friends has sent theirs back at least once, and a few have sent it back 4-5 times.

Seriously, whoever designed that console's heat sync had his head up his ass, not to mention the oodles of hardware failures that are out there as well.

Yeah, for a console with great capabilities, it sure has some very basic and criminally overlooked flaws... seems like a Microsoft mantra in alot of ways...

my brother in law buys broken xbox's on ebay with the "red ring" and fixes them, sells them for a ****load of money! clever man. i wish i knew how to fix them... :(
