Haha, no, I played soccer from about age 5 - 11 but nothing after that. And actually our high school jocks were usually pretty cool.

Heh. Yeah, I always wonder when talk about their high school like it's some 80s teen movie with jocks beating up on nerds and whatnot. Is any high school actually like that?

I don't think. The douchebag jocks at my high school were the wrestlers. I'm probably a bit biased since the basketball guys never really got along with the wrestlers much and kinda had a rivalry. I was a jock but didn't make fun of other people, I was pretty well liked by everyone with the exception of the super religious.

Adding to my night of bitching... Forgetting you have a chew in, and sneezing. Just terrible.

That's funny, I got along with the wrestlers at my school pretty well. Two of the guys I used to lift with in the morning before school were wrestlers, one of them being my best friend. The only "jocks" (if you could really call them that) who were dicks at my school were the violent meathead types who started out freshman year playing sports but eventually switched to doing lots of drugs instead. Those guys always seemed to like me for some odd reason though so I never had any direct problem with them myself.

Our school was divided up into all different kind of clicks. You werent branded a jock as the steriotype. Just a ball player or whatever part of athletics you were in. Truth be known nobody was safe from ridicule at my school. It was a 5a school and very populated. Its not like there were three guys that ran the school or anything like that. If there was I certainly was not one of them. It was more divided up into what background you came from even more so than your athletic ability. Of course you had race issues and other forms of clickish groups as well. I wasnt disliked but my school was simply to big to be liked by everyone. I still talk to a lot of people from highschool if you want to know the truth.

Yeah thats how they rank your school. The size of your school is divided into sections. 5a,4a,3a,etc,etc. The town I lived in had two 5a highschools.

I don't know about 5a (didn't grow up in TX) but I also was in a real large school so there was no way for everybody to even know each other let alone fight.

To be on topic: The only kids who fucked with me were skinheads (SHARP - no racism, we were very progressive) and that's only because they continually lost girlfriends to other, better-looking kids who were friends of mine. Here's my bitch: I had Doc Martens and some skinhead guys harassed me for weeks and threatened to steal my shoes. I was friendly with everybody else I can even remember.
