Do you really need 'pratical' differences for that? I mean, is being a different person not enough?

You are trying to be way too logical about this.

Sometimes opposites attract. Sometimes people with the exact same personality attract. Sometimes its a mix of both.

It's love stop trying to quantify and characterize it.

what duga said

it is not logical, Captain

It's love, Jim, but not as we know it!

For what I just described? Yes. How would you not? If you're extremely similar you're both going to come at things from a very similar direction. Not that I fell in love with my wife for practical reasons. Far from it. I'm just pointing out the advantages of being in an "opposites" type of relationship.

sorta like the concept of yin and yang?

Ah, I forgot. Sorry about that.

I don't want to be insensitive, but now I'm curious...what is going on in your head? Like...why are our explanations not enough? What do you think about?

s_k 04-27-2011 11:27 AM

You're definitely not being disrespectful. Ask whatever you want :)

Almost everything I say comes from experience, not from understanding or empathy.
All the social skills I have (which are, compared to most other autists, quite good) I have learned myself in the last 15 years or so. It's really a learning process, experience.

Long story short; EVERYTHING is 'logic' for me :)
