Same here. Sometimes camping out is the only way to get a spot in the library during exam periods though.

Some old lady (I think) I don't know keeps calling me and I can't talk any sense into her that it's the wrong number. She keeps saying "Hello" in this really weird accent. I looked up the number online and it's a California number. I don't know if I can block numbers on my primitive phone so I just keep ignoring the calls now. If it's someone trolling I'm assuming they'll eventually give up, but if it's a senile old lady, this may never end...

My friend once managed to stay at my university for a few days straight. Even used their showers and had a change of clothes.

Driving down a split lane highway yesterday. Some jackass from the opposite side blasts across the median, heading straight for me. I swerve, lose control, roll my truck - it's totaled. The jackass proceeds to cross back over the median and drive away. The cops never found him.

Now my insurance company has decided that I have not been paying them enough money each month for them to give a ****, so they're not covering anything. On top of it all, I have to pay $650 in cash for the tow just so I can get my car back to sell it to a salvage yard for a couple hundred bucks.

Somehow, my wife and I escaped with only a few bruises and scratches. I know I should be grateful. After all, we're alive, and all I lost is a car and some money. But it's hard to be grateful right now. I just want to find the ****er who caused this and bash his face in.

So, I've noticed something that has happened throughout my life. When people get to actually know me, they realize how much of a douchebag I am, and they stop talking to me. I'm not going to whine and moan, but how do I fix this? I just want to have a good friend that stays with me for more than a year, it's all I ask.

That really fucking sucks man. Dealing with some asshole who doesn't take responsibility for his actions is bad enough, but dealing with the insurance company is the worst.

I'm very glad to hear you're okay though, and it's nice to see you back around these parts.
