I'm shocked at this thread every time I come in. It used to be that some folks were odd because they were vague. Now the "bitches" aren't even coherent. Wtf was blooz even saying?

What is it about writing that makes a person crave a cigarette? I've been off cigarettes for almost 8 months now, but the last few weeks have left me really wanting some, with me relapsing a couple of times. I'm meeting with a friend to go over her essay (not a euphemism, I'll be editing an essay she wrote) as well as write an article for my school paper and I have a feeling I'm going to stop by the gas station and pick up a pack. I keep on trying to reason it with myself like how if I smoke in moderation it won't be so bad, or how I've been under a lot of stress and been really unhappy with my life lately, but I still feel incredibly weak.

Writing was going to be the activity that got me away from drinking a 6-pack every evening, but all it seems to have done is helped me change up one vice for another.

The day I am able to finally start cranking out some credible data and finish this ****ing project, an undergrad goes and breaks the damn machine. That's another 2 week delay at least. ****.
