Plus the wii is more then party games. "No More heroes, Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Zack and Wiki, Battalion Wars, Fire Emblem" Just like the Ps3 is more then a blue ray player. You know, games can be put ON blue rays...

So that would make having a blue ray-playing GAME machine quite useful too.
Hell Kojima said hes already filled up one 40gb blue ray disc on MGS4 already.

i own a ps3. sure the games have been mediocre but i stick with Sony 100%. Xbox 360 does have a better online system in terms of gaming, but you have to pay for it. with ps3 you have a built in blue ray player, bluetooth, and everthing is free online. it also boasts an internet browser so you can go on any website. also you dont need batteries to play wireless. so i think the ps3 is far superior.

i can't really commit to taking out a mortgage to afford either of them, though my old flatmate had a 360 and i started having childhood flashbacks. videogames are the brilliant really, i want an edible version of Splinter Cell that you play like an acid trip upon digestion. or something.

Didn't quite get that last part but....Splinter Cell is cool.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you do need batteries. Eventually the batteries in your controls will need to be replaced.

I agree, so why did PS3 come out at what ever crazy price it came out at (even thought i still bought it). I have not played my PS3 in probably a month. I was a person all excited to get blu-ray on a gaming system, haven't done anything with that yet. And also any games worth getting on PS3 come out for 360 (with a couple exceptions i am sure DW6).

People talk about the whole wireless in the PS3, Wii the cheapest system of them all has it too, like right now i am on my Wii typing this in bed. I also love the ability to download games and other applications on the wii like i got Legend or Zelda: Ocrania of time on my wii.

That sounds really dirty.

This is true to the fact that it is a party system, you look like a dork playing it alone.

Because it was expensive to make. Sony was already not making a profit of it, and selling it at a lower price point would make them lose even more.

Since then however, the cost of the cell chips has dropped substantialy, resulting in the new price cuts.


Ps3 also has a web browser though.
