my take on the bible was that: there was all this hate and carnage going on in the world, and the people were hopeless....so the people needed something to read to make them feel better, so there was a poor man, who loved to write amazing tales, and he decided to write a story about a man who comes and saves the world from the hate it was facing....people were so in need of something, that it became a hope(something to belive in) something that got carried down for centuries and eventually evolved into a religion.....
sucks that the bum that wrote it, never got to share in the proceeds though huh, but if there really was a Jesus, then he was just a carpenter that talked alot.....
