In high school you were...? (house, Slipknot, The Cure, goth)

Quite a bit of rebel, a bit of artist, some class clown and a hint of teachers pet.

Me and my friends at that time were mostly punkers with some goths and hippie friends although the stereotypes were not really that defined in south Norway ..

I was popular but I was also a jock, a musician, a rebel of sorts, a class clown...I think I did anything to get attention as I had low self esteem...I was also the Red(see Shawshank Redemption) of my school...My class had 150 ppl in it....I didn't really "find myself" until recently as I had been a addict since I was 14...but I had a lot of fun and saw some great concerts and lived through some crazy ****...I really couldn't be pigeonholed cause I was all over the map.

Going into block scheduling this year. It seems pretty win to me.

It is win for the students. Like dac said, the teachers never teach the full period since it is normally over an hour so you have time to do HW/nothing with the last 20 minutes of class. And since there's only four classes you generaly have less homework. But this is exactly why most schools think block scheduling doesn't work.

We would have 8 classes a semester (7 if you don't count lab) if we switched to block next year...

That's not block scheduling. There were 4 class periods + lunch at my HS.
