I agree with you but.....I think..to a guy who's only got 6-10 posts(Me)... who's a newbie on this site to begin with shouldn't get the "7 day ban treatment" just because I failed to read the fine print(rules)and the mod in question feels the need to flex the admin muscle just because I was joking around and being a goof. I do appreciate it.....I just read the rules and it seems like the only question that I have is: What can we talk about? It seems like there more rules to follow than anything. I thought the idea of forums was to be able to talk about anything at anytime and nothing is taboo. ???? someone please clarify this for me.

Why not? Your first step as a new member of pretty much anything should be to read the rules.

No. As Tore mentioned and you ignored, we deal with spammers here on a constant basis. It not our job to have a heart to heart with everyone we think might be a spammer. It's your responsibility to read the rules and follow them, simple as that.

Do you plan on becoming actively involved in the music discussions going on here or are you just here to complain about the rules?

I am a part of a couple of other music discussions on here right now. I just call into question some of the ethics of the mods that I'm used to dealing with on other sites compared to this one...that's all. I'm not trying to buck the system as much as I'm trying to understand it and I just thought getting the 7 day basement grounding was a little excessive on the mods part. As I post on here you'll come to find out that alot of what I do and say is satire, cheeky, and comedic in nature. Only meant to be taken lightly and not to heart. I do make valid points when I need to but for the most part I try to be a comedian and make people laugh and since I was a music major in college I will most definitely be talking about music.
