Default How would you feel if your favorite musician/artist came out of the closet?

Hey all! I am writing a paper about the reactions of fans when one of their favorite artists or musicians comes out of the closet. I would appreciate it if some of you could give me some feedback and truthfully say what your reaction would be, and why. You would be helping me out alot. Thanks!

If, lets say Thom Yorke, came out of the closet I don't know if it would change much. I mean, I might be less open with my love for the respective band because I'd just want to avoid the criticism that would come along with being a fan. I'd still love the music just as much though. Homosexuality isn't really a big deal though. It's probably bigger in the industry than people realize. Some theorize that Nick Drake was a homosexual, and his shame over that led to his suicide/death. That doesn't mean his music isn't fantastic though.

I personally wouldn't care at all. I see no reason to care.

Ambivalent. I spend half my time listening to artists who pretend to be homosexual already. Why would I care if they actually were?

I'd be a bit suprised if Kurt was a homosexual but, that really has nothing to do with his music.

Okay I personally do not enjoy being made fun of. I think it would be annoying in the wrong crowd. Some people are accepting of such things, others are close minded idiots. I would just keep my opinions to myself around those people, so I don't have to hear them talk.

Well I can sort of understand this, the way I heard it was that you wouldn't like to tell anyone because you would want to fit in or something like that. I can see not wanting to put up with idiots babble on though.
