help I don't know what to do. It's making the soles of my shoes slightly damp.

We've not had dew in these parts since the Great Morning Dew outbreak of 1985.

I used to sit and listen to my Grandfather tell stories of when the local croft got damp of a morning (before the council paved it). He was once dewed in for a month!!!

That's pretty rough, but I can relate to harsh weather situations like that. Here in California it was slightly cool the other day. I almost had to wear a jacket.
