3. Steven John Wilson
4. Quentin Jerome Tarantino
5. Pema Dorje (Gendun Drup)
6. Dave Chapelle
7. Clinton Eastwood, Jr.

I can't think of to many writers I would rather read than this crazy son of a bitch. The father of Gonzo journalism, along with loads of amazing books. Hells Angels, Fear and Loathing, Gonzo Papers, Curse of Lono...etc. He has been with Rolling Stone since the start, but does not like television appearances. A few times on Letterman and one fairly recently with Conan O Brian. Look below, its worth it.

Great Video Here

Probably one of smartest ****ers...well, ever. President, revolutionary, and creator of his own bible. My second favorite president for to many reasons to list. The days of brilliant and straight forward presidents as we all know are gone, and frankly in my opinion not going to be back any time soon. Jefferson could truly hang with the best. If I could chose some one to have a nighttime smoke, Jefferson and George would get my first calls.

*Note: Our countries biggest advocate of actually educating the public. Weird huh?

FireInCairo 02-26-2009 03:23 AM

Cool so far
Keep going!

Surell 02-26-2009 09:21 PM

I wanna see some Fidel Castro or Che Guevara. Oh wait I'll do that on my own time.

ganstapickle93 02-26-2009 11:54 PM

trent reznor? jimi hendrix?

Pornographie Nouveau 02-27-2009 12:49 AM

I would like to see some John Cale, some River Phoenix and perhaps some Andy Warhol (only because he looked cool).

I'm just not a fan of his incoherence/Kerouac rip off style. Also if he was truly one of the coolest mother****ers of all time he would have killed himself in a cool way.

Rip off? The man started his own style of writing, which is followed and constantly replicated by many other journalists and writers.

Thats a ****ed up thing to say.... :nono:

lucifer_sam 03-01-2009 06:44 AM

Well there goes any chance of Waits being on the list, he was practically a student of Kerouac.

So Kerouac is also incoherent? Because if he's not, then its clearly not a rip-off. So which is it?

No but his personality is certainly abrasive to some. I like him more for his musical accomplishments and convictions. He's still a funny dude but it's always a struggle to understand whether he's being serious or not.

His scene with Iggy Pop in Coffee & Cigarettes is pretty epic.

The beauty of quitting is now that I've quit, I can have one, 'cause I've quit.

Not quite as epic as Billy Murray with RZA and GZA though. Not much is.

TheBig3 03-01-2009 09:54 AM

well, it should go without saying that regardless of your position on what cool is, this guy should be in the top 50.

Steve Wilson, a genius in everything he attempts. The backing behind the band Porcupine Tree, and also one of the most talented modern day musicians. The first few projects and PT albums were made completely by Wilson. Him being the producer, audio engineer, and writing each part. His live shows are the highlight of the band, being very psychedelic and played to the fullest by each member of the band.

i don't know why either of the posts you made are in here, but I did watch the video (no idea what the other picture was of), and I have to say, Harris Creeps me out a little. Same padder from O'Reilly, but does anyone want to say we're at war with Islam?

I'm no fan of organized religion, but I know some Islamic men, one of which was from Kurdistan, and he couldn't have been a more reasonable guy. He never pushed his faith, and he never protested anything we did, even if it was against his faith.

Things said like that are, in large-scale, intellectually lazy.

Edit: Hunter S. Thompson, Thomas Jefferson....and the guy from Porcupine Tree. We took a sharp turn off objectivity road right there.

Yes, but this is not a list of importance or relevance. But simply as the title states, "50 Coolest Fother Muckers".

kyleargyle 03-02-2009 06:35 AM

I hope Mickey Rourke's on here somewhere.

Well I'll hold out for 4 and see what happens...

I could go on for weeks telling you about each amazing movie this man has created and/or been in. Some being (my personal favorite) Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Sin City, and many more. Another reason he is so cool is the close relationship he has with a man named Steve Bushemi. These two together can not make a bad movie. And by not bad I mean amazing and wonderful all over. Below is a wack job movie critic who gets put down by QT, and below that just a short video f QT spitting on some reporter.

Surell 03-02-2009 06:59 PM

Whatever Quentin was accusing that reporter of, the dude could only say "No I didn't!".

He's a wild character.

Terrible Lizard 03-02-2009 07:37 PM

Thomas Paine needs to be on here, also Robert Mitchum, Christopher Lee, Sergio Leone, Harry Miller, Robert Fripp, and who could forget mother****ing Miles Davis.

Surell 03-02-2009 07:43 PM

Christopher Lee was hardcore in the Wicker Man.
