I live in a hockey-obsessed Catholic hick town with a bunch of German descendents.

Not too far away from me, i'm in Colchester right now. Obviously worse.

i'm from a quiet little mountain town in Colorado, USA. growing up i had bears in my back yard. once, when i was about 11, we got a meter of snow in two days! it was sunny 19 days out of 20, and the air was the freshest i've ever breathed. but the best thing was the stars. even the longest winter night wasn't long enough to count them all!

then i lived in London for a few years. god that was depressing. it wasn't rainy like i expected, it was just gray. the weather was gray, the buildings were gray - even the people were gray. it was good while it lasted, but i'll never live there again.

finally a few years ago i met a beautiful Hungarian woman, fell in love, and got married. now i live in Budapest. it's OK, but i still miss the mountains!
